Lord of Mysteries' New Dungeon Puts a Dancing Baboon Between You and Level 64 Gear

The six-player Tree of Abundance dungeon brings three bosses, item-level 64 gear and cosmetic drops. Here is what the official preview tells players to watch.

A giant turtle, a dancing baboon and a vine-wielding boss stand between Lord of Mysteries players and the new item-level 64 dungeon gear. Tree of Abundance (丰饶之树), the six-player dungeon scheduled for September 18 on the Chinese service, gives each of its three bosses a different way to break up a party.

The developers’ official dungeon preview tells players to dodge waves, keep time with a dancer and draw troublesome mushroom enemies away from their teammates. It also lists new Imprint gear for the ring, hat and cloak slots. These are item levels, rather than a stated character-level entry requirement.

The release falls in the first weekend of version 1.2, which arrived on September 17. The preview calls the dungeon’s opening day Friday, September 18. Its advice is a useful starting point for a first run, although the post does not give a complete attack sequence or recommended team composition.

Three bosses, three warnings

The first boss is the Direwater Giant Turtle (厄水巨龟), which lives at Golden Autumn Lake. The developer’s instruction is direct: avoid the waves it summons. The preview does not give a safe position or a cast timer, so it would be premature to turn that warning into a fixed movement pattern.

Next comes the Dancing Baboon (舞王狒哥). The official post describes a physically powerful boss whose fight requires players to keep up with its rhythm. Missing that rhythm can put a player out of the fight. Exactly how the game signals the beat is left unexplained in the text.

Sylvia (西尔维娅) closes the dungeon. She attacks with vines and brings in mushroom enemies named 菇勇者, translated here as Mushroom Warriors. The developer tells players to lead these enemies away from the team separately. Players need to watch these enemies as well as Sylvia.

The pink-haired, antler-crowned character in the image above is Sylvia, shown in the official dungeon preview. The image is a character close-up, not a demonstration of the mushroom mechanic.

The rewards go beyond a higher item level

Tree of Abundance offers item-level 64 Adventure equipment (冒险装备). Its new Adventure Imprint equipment (冒险烙印装备) covers rings, hats and cloaks. Players comparing drops should check both the slot and the Imprint effect before replacing an existing piece.

There are cosmetic chances too. The preview lists a Silver Baboon Headpiece (银色狒狒头套), the Earth’s Kiss cloak (大地之吻) and the White Maple Memories hairstyle (白枫往事). The hairstyle belongs to the 神眷 cosmetic tier. The announcement describes these as possible rewards; it does not promise a cosmetic on every clear or publish drop rates.

The next announced step is Emperor Returns (大帝重临), a separate 12-player raid scheduled for October 2. That raid offers item-level 65 Adventure equipment and an item-level 65 Imprint talisman. Its larger group size and later opening date give clubs a reason to organise a second roster after this weekend’s six-player runs.

Players filling the rest of their week can also check the new Blackthorn Casebook skip and Special Duty rules.
