Apprentice 学徒
Mobility / Utility
Every locked door is a suggestion — spatial trickery, travel and recorded mysteries.
The Apprentice opens Doors of Light, records scenes to replay later, and grows into the Door pathway's mastery of space and travel. In combat that translates to blink-style mobility, spatial tricks and utility that no other pathway matches; in the open world it's simply the best way to get around. Higher sequences — Traveler, Secrets Sorcerer, Wanderer — expand from short hops to plane-crossing journeys.
Confirmed as one of six playable pathways for the Crimson and Grey Fog tests.
Sequence Progression
The Door pathway's ladder from the novel, starting at Sequence 9 Apprentice. Betas so far cover the early sequences — in-game ability kits for higher sequences haven't been officially detailed yet.
Apprentice
Opens Doors of Light for short-range travel and 'records' scenes and objects for later use.
Trickmaster
Spatial trickery — swaps, misdirection and conjuring through micro-teleports.
Astrologer
Divines through the stars and borrows power from astral configurations.
Scribe
Records knowledge and scenes into enduring inscriptions that can be invoked again.
Traveler
Long-range teleportation; never lost, always able to find the way.
Secrets Sorcerer
Casts sorceries through hidden doors — attacks and wards that cross space.
Wanderer
Wanders between planes, opening concealed doors between realities.
Planeswalker
Freely crosses worlds and creates lasting passages between them.
Key of Stars
A living key to every door, seal and barrier.
Door
The God of space, travel and doors — the omnipresent Gate between worlds.
Advancing this pathway in-game
Advancement follows the novel's rules: collect the right potion formula and ingredients, brew the next sequence's potion, then stabilize it through the acting method — playing the role your sequence name describes until the power becomes truly yours. Rushing potions without acting risks losing control, and losing control in a world with a sanity system rarely ends well.
