A Lord of Mysteries Player's Crystal Flip Hit a 25-Day Cooldown

A player's equipment resale test ran into a 25-day, 9-hour trade cooldown. We read the crystal tooltip and explain why the quoted profit needs a date.

A Lord of Mysteries player bought equipment to break down and sell for materials, then found a wait of more than 25 days attached to the crystals. Their screenshot puts the problem beside the item itself: 冷静期, the trade cooldown, reads 25天9小时, or 25 days and 9 hours.

The September 18 report by TapTap player 诡秘大嘴巴 describes a resale method built around cheap orange equipment and 蓝山晶石, translated here as Blue Mountain Crystals. The player says dismantling the purchased equipment produced crystals with that delay. Their screenshot shows a selected stack of eight crystals marked with an hourglass and the cooldown in a red box.

The example leaves 7,200 Soli at a 140,000 purchase price

The method in the player’s report was to buy orange equipment above level 60 for less than 140,000 Soli (苏勒), dismantle it, and sell the crystals. The player reports receiving at least eight crystals and quotes a price of about 20,000 each on a large server such as Grey Fog at the time of the test.

Using those figures, eight crystals would gross 160,000 Soli. An 8% fee would leave 147,200. At an equipment cost of 140,000, that would mean a margin of 7,200 Soli, provided all eight crystals sold at the quoted price.

Those are September market observations and a conditional calculation. The post does not establish today’s prices, a guaranteed sale or a fixed crystal yield for every eligible item. A lower sale price after the cooldown could erase that margin.

Trading interface showing a separate stack of four Blue Mountain Crystals, a unit price of 20,000 and a fee of 6,400

The player’s other screenshot shows a listing panel for four crystals at 20,000 each, with a 6,400 fee. Screenshot by 诡秘大嘴巴 on TapTap. It does not show a completed sale.

Read the timer on your own stack

The cooldown screenshot also has a separate stack of four crystals beside the selected stack of eight. The selected stack carries the hourglass symbol. Check the stack you intend to sell before using a market listing to calculate what you can recover from dismantling gear.

Our earlier launch auction report covers the wider equipment market. This player’s test adds a specific check before repeating the trade: open the material details, read 冷静期, and calculate the fee using prices that still apply when the materials can be listed.
