Lord of Mysteries' Spirit Threads Let Your Marionettes Explore Tingen
A player guide shows where to equip Spirit Threads for automatic exploration. We translate the Tingen item's 12-hour effect and the Chinese menu labels.
Your marionettes can do some of the exploring in Lord of Mysteries. A September 20 TapTap guide by player 诡秘大嘴巴 shows how to equip Spirit Threads (灵线) in the Marionette Travel menu. The pictured Tingen item says it enables automatic exploration in that region.
For English-speaking players working through the Chinese menus, the slot is easy to pass over. Open Marionettes (秘偶), select Travel (游历), then look beside the assigned marionette portraits at the bottom left. The author’s red arrow points to the plus sign labelled 灵线. The map fills most of the screen, while the item slot sits below it.
Read the region and duration before using a thread
The guide’s next screenshot shows Legendary Spirit Thread: Tingen (传说灵线·廷根). Its description gives a duration of 12 hours, a 30% increase to Marionette Travel rewards, and automatic exploration of the Tingen region. Those figures belong to this pictured item. They should not be assumed for every thread or rarity.

The author reports that other threads target other regions, with some unrestricted by region. Match the place named in the item description to the map you want to explore. The screenshots do not establish that one thread completes every chest, quest or map objective, or that all its effects continue while the account is offline.

Check the map before buying supplies
The same player guide points to hand-shaped map markers as a source of Spirit Threads. Its instructions are to follow the marker, complete the local task and open the associated chest. It also describes store and auction routes, but its quoted market prices are one player’s September 20 observations, not a fixed cost for every server.
