Lord of Mysteries Lets Railway Tycoon Players Keep All Three Cards in Frenzy
Version 1.3 adds a limited-time Frenzy stage to Railway Tycoon, with three-card selection and a setting that controls the order of their effects.
Railway Tycoon is loosening one of its meanest restrictions: drawing three useful strategy cards and having to throw two away. The Lord of Mysteries team’s October 13 announcement says version 1.3, scheduled for October 15, adds a Frenzy (狂热) stage where players can select all three.
Frenzy is a limited-time rule for that new stage. The developers also say the stage brings a higher challenge, so the extra cards come with a tougher run to clear. They have not given an end date in this announcement.
The post gives a winery example. Before the final stop, the player draws three gold cards: double the winery sale price, raise item levels, and double chamber-of-commerce tickets. Under the old choice, two of those opportunities go unused. Frenzy lets players keep the full selection.
Put the cards in order
The update also adds an effect-order setting (生效顺序设置功能). The developers specifically mention combinations involving cards that grant items and cards that transfer them. Players can set which card resolves first.
The official preview gives a more precise instruction than the announcement’s three-card pitch. Its bottom label says the cards take effect in order, station by station (策略卡将按顺序逐个站点生效). The screen numbers the cards 1, 2 and 3, and tells players to press and drag them to change that order. Selecting three cards does not mean every effect resolves at the same station.

Players have already pushed the existing mode to scores above four million. The developers say the new rule can also help players reach the task targets for the Railway Traveler (铁道旅人) outfit in fewer runs. They provide no run count or measured saving, and the higher stage difficulty still has to be cleared.
This is a separate change from version 1.3’s Trade War caravan mode. For Railway Tycoon, the team plans to rotate stages and introduce further mechanics after Frenzy. In the new stage, check the three numbered slots before pressing 确认 (Confirm).
