Lord of Mysteries First-Clear Teams Must Keep Cross-Server Players Out
The official version 1.3 preview says a player from another server entering the dungeon counts as abandoning its first-clear challenge.
A replacement teammate from another server can end a first-clear attempt in Lord of Mysteries before the next boss fight starts. The Chinese MMO’s official version 1.3 preview says that allowing any cross-server player into the dungeon during a first-clear challenge counts as automatically abandoning that challenge.
The rule appears in the October 9 illustrated preview, under Dungeon First-Clear Gameplay (副本首通玩法). Only a team made up of players from the same server can start the challenge after entering the dungeon. The team must then defeat all bosses in one run to complete it.
A group chasing the title must check a replacement player’s server before inviting them into the dungeon. The warning concerns entry into the dungeon itself. The panel does not say the visiting player must fight a boss or receive loot before the challenge is abandoned.
The feature arrived with version 1.3 on October 15. The October 14 patch notes confirm that a dungeon’s first-clear challenge opens after all of its bosses become available. They also direct players to the challenge instructions in the dungeon interface for the detailed rules.
The preview uses the May Manor Castle (五月庄园·城堡) menu as its example. Below it, the developer lists an exclusive title for the team that completes the first clear. A player who holds that title gets a special notification when joining a team. The patch notes add that a dedicated area of the dungeon interface will display every member of the successful team.

The next date on the hard-mode calendar is October 23, when May Manor Garden opens. Castle’s Offspring Guardian and First Believer follow on October 30, then the Viscountess on November 6. These are difficulty opening dates; the first-clear rule separately requires all bosses in the relevant dungeon to be available. See the hard-mode schedule for the full calendar.
The preview does not explain whether a wipe, disconnect or departure by a same-server player ends an attempt. Check the live dungeon’s first-clear instructions before replacing anyone, and confirm the replacement’s server before they enter.
