Lord of Mysteries Expanded Every China Server Hours After Launch
Lord of Mysteries had 20 servers ready for China, but launch registrations still triggered capacity breakers and forced an emergency expansion across the full server pool.
Lord of Mysteries opened in China with 20 servers on August 21. That was still not enough capacity to get through launch day.
SPARK NEXA says registrations on more servers triggered its automatic circuit breaker after the public opening. The studio ordered an emergency capacity increase across every server, with deployment scheduled to finish at 22:00 China Standard Time on August 21.
The six servers added before launch did not absorb the first-day demand. SPARK NEXA has not published a player count, queue length or outage duration.

Four capacity moves in three days
The launch pool began with 14 servers during character pre-creation. SPARK NEXA then made four rapid changes:
| Time in China | Capacity change |
|---|---|
| August 19, 16:00 | Raised the pre-creation limit on the original servers |
| August 19, 19:45 | Added 深渊 (Abyss) and 死神 (Death), taking the pool to 16 servers |
| August 20, 12:00 | Added four more servers, taking the pool to 20 |
| August 21, by 22:00 | Expanded capacity across all servers after the public launch |
Yesterday’s prelaunch server report covered the move from 14 to 20. The August 21 notice is the first confirmation that the same pressure continued after players could enter the world.
SPARK NEXA describes the trigger as 注册人数直接触发熔断, which means “registration numbers directly triggered the circuit breaker.” A circuit breaker stops or limits requests when a service reaches a set threshold. The phrase documents blocked registrations. Because that protection can activate before a full crash, the notice cannot establish that every game server went down.
Social posts often use “full,” “down” and “queueing” for the same launch problem. The official notice confirms that more servers hit a registration threshold and that the studio expanded all of them.
What the Chinese notice says
The headline is 《诡秘之主》所有服务器紧急扩容!, or “Emergency Capacity Expansion for All Lord of Mysteries Servers.” These are the key terms for English players:
| Chinese notice text | English meaning |
|---|---|
| 所有服务器 | All servers |
| 紧急扩容 | Emergency capacity expansion |
| 注册人数 | Number of registrations |
| 触发熔断 | Triggered the circuit breaker |
| 22点部署完毕 | Deployment completed by 22:00 |
| 心仪服务器 | Preferred server |
| 直接进行创号 | Create a character directly |
In this server notice, 创号 means creating a character on the selected server. Buying an account from a third party is unrelated to this instruction.
The studio told players they could create a character on their preferred server after the deployment finished. It did not announce free transfers, cross-server character moves or a new server list. Players joining friends should still confirm the exact server name before character creation.
What remains unmeasured
Demand exceeded the studio’s revised launch plan. Performance during busy play periods remains unmeasured.
SPARK NEXA has published no measurements for login stability, queue times, crowded-zone performance or cross-platform account data. We will treat player clips and queue screenshots as individual reports until the studio provides broader service data.
This remains a mainland China release on PC, iOS and Android. SPARK NEXA has not announced an English client or a global launch date. Our China installation guide explains the official download routes, while the China account guide covers the login labels and access limits for overseas players.
